Sh Balveer Choudhary opened the meeting & welcomed all present & an introduction session held. Thereafter the following issues were discussed thereon, the brief summary of which is as under :-
1. General Aspects of Postmaster Cadre
2. Administrative & Operational expectations from Postmaster Cadre
3. Questions regarding implementation of Postmaster Cadre Policy
4. Promotional avenues of Postmaster Cadre
5. Filling up of Postmaster Gr II & III vacancies
6. LDCE for GR B & Promotion through seniority cum fitness
7. Scope of Postmaster cadre after cadre restructure
8. Purpose for get together
9. Formation of association for Postmaster Cadre
10. Agenda for Future meeting
This was found in discussion Unanimously that for secure future of Postmaster Cadre an separate association should be formed & an proper constitutional way be adopted so that the matters of cadre may be taken up to higher authorities. A resolution motion passed & consent letter in this regard obtained from all present officers.
A responsible body generated to move this motion ahead & the following officials are nominated:-
